I have a few interesting runners coming up. Shepherd’s Warning runs over a mile tomorrow at Ayr – she is carrying far more weight than she would do in a handicap and will no doubt be a very big price but could run well. Lord Snooty finally comes out on Friday at Newmarket and I’m excited about that – he’s a top prospect. Lord Peter Flint may come out on Saturday – the form of his run has worked out extremely well.
At Beverley today I may back Ravenna, who won four on the bounce earlier in the season and may have more to come. In the last I may side with Celtic Strand, whose trainer had a winner yesterday. The race of the day is the 4.30 at Yarmouth, where I favour Reunite – she always looked like she would be a better 4yo than 3yo, conditions look about right, she has won first time up in her first two seasons and the price suggests she is coming to this race fit and well.
