I spent the whole morning deliberating about Bouguereau and whether we should have a tilt at the Italian Derby. Pete didn’t want to go unless we flew as it’s a long way to box a horse and they invariably run badly after a long trip like that.
We thought there was a flight to Rome, but then we found it had been cancelled. We found a Cathay Pacific flight to Milan that he could go on – after a load of phone calls we managed to get it sorted.
I’m keen to give it a go as Bouguereau has been a real improver at home and we’re starting to believe in him a little more now.
We’ve spent a long time debating where we go next with Max and we’re still chewing on it.
