A longer blog in due course as I have a fair bit to write up.
Several horses I’m watching today, but for the most part I’ll be watching. I’m backing in the bumper, opposing the well fancied debutante from the powerful Henderson yard with the Gifford trained Dee Eee Williams. Nick thinks a lot of this horse, and he is a strapping type and the right type to give weight away. I’ve heard plenty about the unraced bumper horses still to come out of the Henderson stable and there’s no doubt he has a powerful hand going into Cheltenham, but I’ll happily oppose him with a horse who could turn out to be a real star one day and is trading at 5-1 or better.
Addendum : I’ll also have a little on Wee Robbie, partly out of loyalty but also because he may be well in here and I think he’ll appreciate the ground.
